if you will please allow inspireDC a personal moment of self promotion, here are some paper goodies she's been working on to keep the creative juices flowin'.
sweet invites for a sweet bride-to-be. stamped and in the mail (phew!).
a good idea by a savvy bride - personalized note cards as thank you gifts for shower hostesses. (inspireDC got a good buzz making these gifts)
stay tuned for more paper goodies in the coming days. inspireDC has a big wedding invite project underway. which has to be out the door by thurs. nervous.
WHAT I SHOULD SAY:
this is my attempt to showcase inspiration in and around washington, dc. i figured if i blog about inspiration, it will make me look harder for the extraordinary in the everyday. and if i share it, others will start to see the the uniqueness in their own everyday. and hopefully along the way we'll all find a little more to enjoy in our seemingly ordinary lives.
WHAT I WANT TO SAY:
i am a politico stuck in a crafter-searcher-hunter-antique show-goer's body. i work in the capitol all day (and sometimes all night). and i dream all night about working in a little shop that sells paper goodies and fun antiques and reapolstered furniture in bold-graphics with creative displays and a craft table. a shop where i search for unique pieces that make people very, very happy. most especially me. i love a find. so i am going to use this blog to show you some of my finds. and i am going to prove that not all politicos are confined to red, white & blue. all with my trusty canon powershot. so don't expect fancy. i've got a day job. and a great husband and a very cute son.
